Kossuth County EMS Community Meeting
Kossuth County EMS will be in Burt on November 2 at 6:30 pm at the Activity Complex to host a community meeting about the future of emergency medical services in Kossuth County and the steps being taken to become an essential service.
Kossuth County EMS administrator Phil Albers will offer a short presentation, followed by time for questions. In the November 8, 2022, election Kossuth County voters will have the opportunity to vote on the EMS Proposition, a tax levy that will fund EMS as an essential service. If the vote passes, this tax levy will help create a sustainable form of funding for Kossuth County EMS, which provides emergency medical services and ambulance coverage to all of Kossuth County in coordination with EMS volunteers.
