Billy Sunday Lunch and Learn

Craig Bishop will be presenting a program about professional baseball player and evangelist Billy Sunday. Sunday was born on November 19th, 1862 in Ames, IA. Sent to live in the Soldier’s Orphan Home in first Glenwood, then Davenport, Billy left there when his brother ages out at 16. Working off jobs in Marshalltown, he was recruited to play baseball.
