SUMMARY:Off the Beaten Path – Kossuth County Camp for Kids
DESCRIPTION:All 12 libraries in Kossuth County are working together to bring Off the Beaten Path, a Kossuth County Camp day to the kids in the county. The camp will be held on Thursday, June 23rd from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Smith Lake Nature Center. From 3:00-5:00 there will be four different stations for the groups to work through: owl pellet dissection, bird house building, bugs as food, and a program by Billie Willie. At 5:00 we will have a hot dog picnic followed by a life American Eagle program presented by SOAR (Saving our Avian Resources) at 6:00. Everyone is welcome.\nThe Algona School District has generously offered to run busses to ALL libraries in the county to pick-up and drop-off kids.
