The Burt First Responders has received word that they have been chosen to receive an INS Charity Grant in the amount of $750.00 form Iowa Network Services.  Co-sponsor is Titonka-Burt Communications, Jim Mayland, Manager.  The funds were used toward the purchase of a newer ambulance on October 8, 2006. A Chevrolet model.
Thank you to everyone for their contributions to make this purchase possible.
(Director Janice Trunkhill was instrumental in procurring several grants to speed this process along!)

The Burt Volunteer Fire Department meets on the third Thursday of every month at the Emergency Services Building at 7:00 p.m.
